Andrea Newman

Senior tutor

Andrea says: "I see myself as a sensitive and geeky introvert and teacher! I love creating and holding a space for people to come into to explore themselves through yoga. I find it a joy and a privilege to see people's courage and determination as they face challenges in life, to heal and evolve." Andrea has been teaching yoga since 1994 and training yoga teachers with the British Wheel of Yoga since 2003. As a Certified Advanced Rolfer with a degree in biochemistry, Andrea continues to study anatomy, spirituality and the body-mind connection. She brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to her teaching and is committed to providing opportunities for yoga teachers and students to learn and grow.

Course tutor

Tracy Harris

Foundation Couse Tutor

Tracy says: “I know just how powerful a regular yoga practice can be. I was guided to yoga by a GP after a devastating accident when I was hit by a bus as a pedestrian in 1997. Yoga practice helped me so much that I knew I wanted to teach.” Tracy completed her 500-hour BWY Teaching Diploma in 2007 and founded Summerhouse Yoga & Wellbeing in 2010, in West Sussex and online. Her passion is in making the yoga that she teaches accessible to all who would like to practice, regardless of ability, injury, disease or disability. Tracy loves teaching individuals and groups, and seeing and hearing about the joy and freedom that yoga, meditation and other practices can bring.
